I just booked tickets for 4 on Southwest Hartford, to El Paso...I know some of you have gotten cheaper flights, and been able to receive a credit for future use etc...

how often do you or should I check? Is there a specific day to check? I'm happy with my 99 each way per person, since its CT to TX....but if there comes a sale- I'll take it!

Thanks
Brandy

Thank you very much!

I did sign up for the rapid rewards and email specials etc.

One thing I didnt know what that my kids could get their own rapid rewards numbers- after this trip, and another in feb, plus Nov's of next year we might just get enough points for free flights whoohoo!

thanks again, I'll be checking on Tuesdays

Personally, I check my flights every day, sometimes twice. You never know when they're going to pop in a special. Also, sign up for travelocity or expedia fare watcher and set your criteria (maybe when the fare is lower than $175) While SWA doesn't participate with these sites, if you get notified that some other carrier is having a sale, go back in and check your SWA flights. Sometimes they match the fare. This happened with our upcoming trip from BDL - MCO. When USAir dropped theire price to $98 RT SWA matched (but you had to fly on Tues, Wed, Thurs) I switched our tickets and had a $50 credit to apply to Feb's trip.
