How far in advance does everyone buy their theme park tickets? Do the prices go up every year? Can you buy tickets this year and use them for next year?

If you buy tickets with the non-expiring option they will be good forever. We are going the first week of November and I bought our tickets a few weeks ago. Go out to Mousesavers.com and sign up for their free e-mail newsletters. In the newsletters, there are usually links to two different ticket brokers with specials good only via the Mousesavers link. For at least six months I watched those specials, and other websites, comparing prices. I found the best deal for the tickets I wanted (adult, 10 day park hoppers, non-expiring, with 5 additional options (for Disneyquest, Pleasure Island or the water parks) for $358 each. The other prices I found (mapleleaftickets.com, floridaorlandotickets.net, officialticketcenter.com, Disney Store, advance purchase from Disney and at the gate) went all the way up to $414.24, so I feel like I got a great deal. I called Ticketmania during the online purchase process, just to check their customer service. I did not get put on hold, and they were helpful. Tax was included, shipping was free. The tickets arrived safely, exactly when I expected them, along with a pile of Orlando guidebooks and coupons. Learn about all the ticket types available, watch for a deal and good luck!! :flower:

Which company did you the buy the tickets from for the $358 price. What web site would I need to go to in order to get that price?

We used Ticketmania.com. I just checked that website and the prices for the tickets I bought are now at $379. Some of these ticket places run specials on different tickets and they are constantly changing. You truly do have to check these websites constantly and jump on it when you see a discount that works for you. Relatives were wanting a 3 or 4 day park hopper which are hard to find. I sent an e-mail to discountorlandovacation.com asking if they ever had the 3 or 4 day ones on sale. They added me to their e-mail list and every time they had those tickets on sale I got an e-mail. They had a 2-day hopper adult with 1 visit to Disneyquest for $146 and a 3-day hopper with 1 visit to Disneyquest for $197. These tickets are hard to find and these were really good prices. I see routinely great prices on tickets that were available only through the links on the mousesavers.com newsletters

Thanks! I think I went through mousesavers as well when I was looking for tickets. I will just need to look regularly and buy them. I have about 2 months before we go. THere was some orlando site. I am going to have to try to find the name again. But, I believe they offered it for $358 as well.
