when to buy Park Hopper tickets for October trip?

We will need 5 day park hopper passes for Oct.24-28th. Is there a good time to buy? I've heard prices go up sometime in Aug/Sept. Just not sure. I don't supposed there are any deals to be had on park hopper tix for fall?

It doesn't look like we are getting any special offer this summer, perhaps they will bring something out for the fall... I'd wait as long as possible. Paying an extra $3 or $4 is worth it for the chance at saving big $$$ if they do offer a discount!

Last year, they had the get 5 days for the price of 3. It looks like they will not offer it for this summer, but I am still holding out hope that they offer it for the fall. Soundsational Summer ends September 5, and the current promotion (25% off hotel) your stay has to be completed by June 18. I just think that fall is slower than summer and that we might see something. My family will be there 10/2-10/6.

The 5 for 3 deal was May-September the last 2 years. After September they don't typically offer ticket specials.

I wouldn't plan on any deals/discounts, if you need to spread your costs I'd start buying PHs now ~ buy one this month, one next month and so on. I already have DD's PH for her B-day trip *4th of July weekend* we'll only visit the parks for 3 days so even if they offer 3 for 5 it wouldn't mean anything to us.

DL usually raises ticket prices in August. So to get a deal you might want to buy before the increase.

So keep an eye out in mid July for news on ticket price increases or a Fall special.

I was told by my TA that if you bought the tickets before May 28th, that they would be good till Dec 31st. Might be worth checking into. If you buy them online you will receive an eticket that you trade at the turnstiles for the hopper pass. Hope that this helps you out.
