When to buy Express Pass?

HI

I am going to Universal in October, and wanted to buy the express pass in April or May. But Universal's website is only showing March and April park days.

Is that right? Will I need to wait till Sept/Oct to buy the Express Pass?

You can use the little arrow to the right of the month to go to other months. Right now the calendar only goes up through September.

Is there any reason you're buying them so far in advance?

Sometimes EP may not be necessary........if it rains for example, the park can sometimes feel like a ghost town.

EP are day specific, so no exchanging them if you don't need them or have to change days ........we usually recommend waiting to see if you need them on the day.

Op, if you will be in the parks on Columbus Day or on Saturdays while Hhn 's will happen those nights, the ep would be a good thing

But you don't have to buy them early

Wait until you are closer to your park date to make that decision

I can't think of any other periods to buy the ep for October except for what I said above

I agree with the others..Dont buy them in advance ..They are date specific, park specific and completely non-refundable.

Yes ep prices can increase

Since you now tell us you will be in the parks at a busy time, check the ep cost when they are listed

Watch it for a week or two before you make a decision

Going to the parks on a weekend when Hhn is going on, will make a difference in when to buy

You may also want to check the price on staying at a deluxe hotel either Saturday night or Sunday night. Depending on your part size, it could be cheaper to rent a room for the night even if you're not planning on sleeping there.

Also, If you're going to HHN, spend the money to buy Express Passes for HHN before spending the money for Express Passes for the day.

The express pass during the day does not carry over to the HHN hours. They are separate.

The way I read your question in your first post, I thought it was about buying the ep for daytime parks.

Now you say it is for a Sunday night Hhn the ep will be for

Wait until prices are released on the Hhn website as they will not be on sale until then

Hhn ep's do not increase in price once they are listed
It is a locked in price

I can make it confusing! The day I am going there will be HHN , Sunday, Oct. 23. I am not going to HHN. I'm staying at Cabana Bay with others who will show up Sunday night.

figured it was for the daytime you needed the ep after i was in your other thread.
