When to buy AP's?

We are going to the world in May 2005. Should I buy my vouchers now to avoid an increase? I had read on another thread that Ap prices were going down on Jan 5???? Is this true? I am planning on buying tonight. Anyone in the know please fill me in. Thanks.

I have never heard of ticket prices going down, especially APs. It never hurts to buy your APs early, if you are sure that you will be using those and not a pkg. Even if you did change your mind and decided to go with a pkg, your AP vouchers will never expire. Their 1 year "clock" only starts ticking once they have been turned into an actual pass at the WDW gate or I think you can buy activated APs at one of the stores in the Orlando airport Disney stores. Also, the only places that you can buy APs is at the DS or WDW (mail order or at the parks & DTD). So, if you have the $ to layout (and "invest" for a future trip, in case you change your mind & go with a new pkg), its a win-win situation.

I heard AP prices will be going up about $15 on Jan 2nd. Unless you are a DVC member (who get a discount starting 1/2), I would buy now.

Thanks folks! I also heard the jan 2 increase date. The decrease price might have been a DVC member. Thank you again. I am off to spend my christmas cash on AP's for the family. I can't help it $ just burns a hole in my pocket. Who am I kidding it never even got as far as my pocket.
