We are going to US/IOA this summer for 3 days. We will also be taking a trip to FLA at Christmas & probably in the Spring of 2011. On those trips we probably will visit US/Ioa for 1 day. How much is an AP that lets you in both parks for a nonFLA resident?? How do we decide if an AP is worth it??? Thanks :goodvibes

The Preferred AP is $229.99 plus tax for non-residents and is good for one year from the date of activation not purchase. The Preferred AP is a two park pass which allows park hopping and no blackout dates. If you're going to make several trips over the next year, I would get it just before your first trip this summer so it would still be good next summer. If you're going for at least three days, the AP is worth it for the discounts alone and free parking...if you're not staying onsite.

You can also get some good deals on the hotel rooms onsite which is one of the reasons I have one. We now won't go to Orlando area and not stay onsite if Universal is one of our stops.
