When to book resort?

We have purchased the plane tickets, so we will definitely be going to WDW in early June. Should I go ahead and book a room and then change the reservation if a better rate/code comes along or wait? I seem to be on the postcard mailing list (I hope that I didn't just jinx myself). Thanks for your help!

I would definetly book now to ensure that you get what you want.Then when they put out the discount codes then you could just apply the code to your reservation.

How you receive postcards seems to be mysterious and maybe random...

Some think that being a registered user on the Disney website helps, some think that previous stays in certain resorts might put you on a list, others believe that Tinkerbell just chooses random folks to deliver pixie dust to...

Seems you can't control it and shouldn't expect. Just enjoy if you happen to get one!
