When to book Palo ???

Going on my first 4 night DCL cruise on Wonder with DH and myself. I've read that some cruisers book the Palo restaurant as soon as step foot onboard. How does one know which night to book if you do not receive your dining rotation schedule til you get to your room . Also do you have to complete your dining rotation before you can book Palo or can you substitute ?

Your dining rotation will be noted on your KTTW card which you will get at the port when you check in.

It's easier to change a Palo reservation than to miss the chance to get one and then try later to make it...so, as soon as you board, do make your reservations based on the information you have. Palo reservations on the Wonder full quickly. It's much easier on the Magic since they have the same number of passengers sailing and twice as many reservations available (due to more days on the cruise.)

you may book any day and time for Palo that is available...Thus, you can substitute Palo for any of your rotation restaurants...

We were on the 3 night on 2-12 and when we got to Wavebands at about 2:15, all of the Palo reservations were gone for every night! They did take our names in case of cancelations but there were none so we missed out.
