After out visit to WDW in November we are hooked! Does anyone know how early you can book for christams 2004. We always have stressful christmases as my husband and sons birthdays are on christmas week so we thought it would be nice to spend it at Disney. :Pinkbounc Also does anything special happen there during the holidays? Thanks for you help - Hannah

It depends how you are booking, packages, including Fly Drives, seem to come out earlier and earlier so probably from September.

If you are doing it yourself, then scheduled flights can only be booked 11 months before the date of the flight.

I have not been at Christmas myself but there are lots of things going on which I am sure someone else will let you know about.

If you are booking flights and accommodation seperately I think it is a good idea to book flights as soon as you can for busy times of year such as Christmas. Once you are certain of your travel dates you then have a wide choice of accommodation to choose from.

Christmas is magic at Disney-they even get it to snow!If you are looking to rent a private villa then your owner may even have a christmas tree there for you .But you won't find things like selection boxes but the tree ornaments are great and the homes are so beautifully decorated you can't believe it .And there are always the osbourne lights of course.

We're going this Christmas and doing things seperately, it was the flights that gave us the most difficulties (and credit card bashing:eek: ). We started trying to get flights as soon as they were released for December abnd unless we wanted to pay extortionate amounts we couldn't get any. In the end we managed to get 5 seats in a Britannia's premium seats. Really wanted Virgin but their prices were just too much.

We went last Christmas and we booked everything on about 5 January 2002. Even then, we couldn't fly out on the day we wanted, as all the seats on the flight were booked, so we had to go a day later.

Luckily i managed to get virgin flights thru Bon Voyage (Joanne 201 was most helpful) although we did start looking on 27 Dec chrismas just gone. We leave on 18 Dec and return on 3 Jan, this is a day later than we wanted but managed to get them for £419 ad and £325 ch. I was pleased with these prices as everyone else was asking at least £6-700.:p
