Hi All!! I'm just in the process of finalizing the dates for our next DW holiday & it looks like we will do 11 days at the end of Sept to the first week of Oct. We live in Ottawa & the price to fly round trip to Orlando is ridiculious!!!! So, I am planning to do Syracuse, booking through Expedia. When do you think would be the cheapest time to book the flights? Right now, we can get four tickets for approximately $1100 at that time.....do you think if I wait until spring or summer it would be cheaper? Last year we flew from Rochester for $750 for the four of us in April!! I prefer THAT price!! :rotfl:

Any thoughts???

Check Jet Blue (www.jetblue.com). They have direct flights from Syracuse, I've flown Jet Blue out of Buffalo for $59 each way.

They are an awesome airline, nice planes with individual tv's and their famous blue chips for a snack.

I booked with expedia for our Dec 05/Jan 06 trip to WDW. Went from Syracuse to Orlando. I checked expedia website just about every day from Feb 05 to Dec 05 and ended up booking in April of 05 for not much less money than if I had of booked in November or December of 05.
I have booked August 19th to Sept 02/07 and am currently checking out all of my options for flights. I don't think I will be going with expedia this time. I live in Kingston, Ontario and can get a direct flight from Toronto for about $350 per person, so I think that is the route I am going this time.

We're flying JetBlue out of Syracuse for the first time next month - we live just outside Ottawa and, like you, found the fares from Ottawa just too much to bear.....

JetBlue prices are good, and for a future trip we are also looking at flying SouthWest out of Albany - fares there look even lower than Syracuse for a couple of hours extra drive.

Travelocity kicked *** for finding our flights! we are able to fly out of Regina SASK for 335 each roundtrip canadian. We don't have the option of driving across the boarder and I don't know that it would be worth it for us...

We are going in september for 11 days (4 DW and 7 DCL) If anyone wants help peaking at flights it is really fun now... rhiwork@gmail.com
