When to book flight?

I am going to be flying out of a little airport (it only has 2 flights a day) and going on a connecting flight to larger ones, so my selection is limited as far as airlines and such. I sail in October 2008. Should I book now or take a chance that the price will go down and I'll hit a sale time?

We are in the same situation. From our local airport we have a choice (?) of US Airways or nothing. We tend to book immediately since over the past six years the prices have only gone down once. That time they did send us a voucher for the difference. For us we book immediately, and watch the price go up over the next 330 days.

I also live near a small airport (ABE - Allentown) and the flights are scarce. I either go to a bigger airport (Newark) and find better prices or take them whenever I see anything cheaper than $175. Its been my experience that the prices will get higher as time gets closer, specially from these smaller airports since the space is so limited. What we did was we came in a day before and stayed at the Hyatt so we wouldn't have to be worried about getting there on time. HTH, have a great cruise!:cool1:
