If my trip isn't until June 20, when should I make my dining reservations?

Currently they are upgrading the dining reservation system and your 180 day date will fall right around the time that they're launching the system. (They anticipate 12/22 for system launch and that's the same day your 180 day window opens)

I just called to check availability for CRT for breakfast and there is no tables available for a party of 3 but a party of 4 there is a wide range of times open. I think this is a ressie you must pay with CC when booking I am willing to pay for 4 people, but our party is only 3...how will that work when we check in? Will the clerk at the front desk give us problems? Any comments are greatly appreciated. This is something our DD has been wanting to attend ever since we told her we were going back to disney. If I am willing to pay the extra this shouldn't be a problem for anyone, especially since that would be a dream come true for the DD.

Unfortunately, if you booked CRT as a party of four, you're paying for a fourth "invisible person" at the time of booking. If you show up at the restaurant with 3 people, you will not get a refund for the no-show.

A similar topic recently came up when someone didn't call California Grill to cancel and didn't realize (ie; didn't pay attention to the cancellation policy spiel during booking) the restaurant charged $20 per person no-shows, so she had a $100 lesson learned the hard way.

Unless you want to spend more money for a non-existent member of your party, you might just want to keep trying for a party of 3.
