when to book a room?

If I am wanting to go to DW in May or April, when should I book my room? I am wanting to stay on site. I am considering All star movies.

I've always booked rooms for the All Star Music around Nov or Dec when I plan on going in May. May can be busy depending on when you are going. Do it sooner than later.

I went to DW in 2008 with my family, and my sister did everything for us..so I am new to all of this. This will be my first time doing it all on my own.

For our last three trips, I booked our May trips in August, as soon as the rates were released. Up until then, I would book in January. If you plan to make any dining reservations, you need to book now so you can get the restaurants you want. The closer your trip time gets, the less things will be available.

I agree w/ the other post to book now if possible, otherwise try to do it by January (or at least by the end of January).

It's scary when things start to fill-up! And then you can get stuck paying more money and getting less value--- *yuck!!*

Book now. You can rent Disney Vaction Points and stay at a Deluxe resort for a great price!
