It's been closed since the fire and all in all removing UnM can be done very easily.

Besides the fact that UNM is horrid and TS is classic is is a smart move because say the went the route of TDL and did the Stitch overlay or even did something new it would be old and outdated again in 5 years. Going back to
A classic you don't have to worry about this.

Yeah -- a few weeks ago the rumor boards were full of reports that it was going to remain "Under New Management." I think if they were on the fence, that might have pushed them to restore the original.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic, but I hope you're right. I was so sick of the current show. Was not one that holds up well to repeated viewings, IMHO.

the only reason I wanted to watch is was because it had characters my generation could relate to, Iago and Zazu, but now that the original is back, I just don't see the appeal :/

you can probably find it on youtube, and then decide whether it was worth staying or not

Some news, there was a posted pic on twitter that the opening 'agent' birds from the preshow are gone.
