When the weather predicts "scattered showers"

What does scattered showers mean in Florida? We really don't have such a think in CA. It usually just really rains. We leave Sunday and almost everyday list "scattered showers". I am just trying to plan for the worst.

Usually scatterd showers means that there may be some showers in the area. You may get showered on and you may not. Usually it does not mean all day rains. But darn, that forcast seems to change daily. We are leaving on Monday and like you I am hoping for nice weather of course.

It's been beautiful all week (a little cold yesterday, gorgeous today!) but this time of year can be somewhat spotty. When they say 'scattered showers' it usually means there will be some light rain here and there, but they don't really know where, when, or how much.

Don't let it worry you. Scattered can mean it rains on Magic Kingdom but it's bright and sunny over at Epcot. The one thing you can just about count on is, it won't rain all day. Just 'scattered showers' here and there, off and on, maybe where you are but maybe not. Bring rain gear, hope for the best, and don't fret about it.

We'll be there next week, too. We're hoping the forecast that said the rain will be in the coastal areas is correct!
