When staying offsite ... parking questions

With my first offsite stay just around the corner, I'm hoping you can help me. (usually, we stay onsite and rely on ME or other transport to/from the resort and use WDW transport while there.)

Can you park at any of the resorts if going for a visit? And if so, do you have to pay to park?

Once you pay to park, if you move your car to another location (on the same day), will you have to pay again? (e.g., go to TTC for the day, but then move the car to the Boardwalk for nighttime entertainment)

Do you have to pay for parking at DTD?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

You can park at resorts to visit, eat at the restaurants etc and you will not be charged. You may be asked by security for the reason of your visit.

What you cannot do is park at a resort to avoid the parking charges at the parks.

If you pay for parking at a park in the morning then go to another park in the afternoon, keep your receipt and you do not have to pay for parking again that day.

Parking at DTD is free.

They will ask you for photo ID when entering the resorts. There is a kiosk and barrier as you enter every resort.

Hi all

we're very close to booking a Florida holiday for 2012 staying in a villa. I was wondering about car parking as well. I know it's free at some places, ie water parks, but you have to pay at 4 "main" parks.

Is parking included on any of the many pre-booked tickets that can be bought. Having been in travel agents (Thomas Cook) they mentioned "The One Ticket" but we're more looking to get travel and accomodation sorted at present so I never thought to ask about parking.

Looking forward to July 2012...

Double check the price if the One ticket and compare with Kenny's ticket thread, or post on here for help with getting the right tickets for your needs, there is no such thing as a One ticket, it just the TA grouping other tickets together (often at a high premium)

Parking is not included in any of the UK tickets, only included with Annual passes or if you stay in a Disney hotel.

Yeah we thought "the One Ticket" sounds a bit much at £457 (for next year) but like I said we were just getting a price for getting there and planned to worry about tickets after.

Thanks for info on parking - I thought as much to be honest!!

Just one more question where is the ticket thread?

Often these tickets include parks you don't need so make a list of where you want to visit and go from there, start a thread if you need help, many of us like to help with best suitable tickets available.

Kenny's ticket thread here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2788722
He tries to post a new one once a month, work permitting.

Thanks so much!!!!!!

This helps in planning (and when you book/start planning with less than 30 days, all the help you can get certainly helps! :))
