When should we go?

My sister wants to take my niece to DL for the first time for her 2nd birthday. We want to go midweek but the week of her actual birthday is when the lower passes become unblocked so I'm thinking we definitely don't want to go then, and we can't go any earlier. Should we wait until the beginning of Sept before the Halloween stuff starts? My sister isn't as much a fan of the parks as we are so I want an enjoyable experience for her and my niece. LoL

If you go in early September just know you will have some closures for the Halloween decorations. It is often really hot then as well.

actually, you have a dilemma on your hands.....a 2 year old....dragging the mother along, who is going to have the stroller, diaper bag, fussy fear that she has to comfort the child, hot.....and she is not a fan?????

put the money in a jar and wait for the child to be older instead of dragging along a the reluctant babysitter

I took my daughter right before she turned 2 and we had an amazing time. Does she like princesses or Tinker Bell? If so she'll love it. Consider getting her a princess outfit and doing photo pass. I love those photos and so does she. Can't really help you with planning but did want to chime in that in can be a lot of fun at that age.
