When we went on our 7 day cruise this past July, we received our Docs at least 6 weeks out. Now we are getting close to the 3 week mark with other fellow cruisers already receiving their Docs and I'm empyt handed. When should I start to worry? (Not like I'm worrying right now! LOL!)

We've never received our docs earlier than 3 weeks before sail date and when I called DCL a few days ago with a question they said that our flight information would be assigned 30 days out and the docs would be sent right after that. Friends went this past summer and received docs about 10 days before they left.

Now I'd be worrying at that point! LOL! You can always call DCL and see if they've been sent....

I'm just a little worried, b/c this time we went through DVC for the 1st time (part points and part cash). We never received our excursion info and I had to call. I just feel out of my comfort zone this time. I'll probably call tonight to ease my thoughts some!

when we booked via DVC we always got the excursion stuff at 60 days and our documents at about three weeks out. Give it a day or so and call them. :)

I just got off the phone with DVC and they told me that the Docs were printed out and sent out yesterday. Now I just have to harass the Big Brown truck!

Just wanted to assure you that even if your documents never arrive, it doesn't keep you off the ship! As long as you are "in the system" then you are good to go! Having the documents ahead of time is nice since you can have the paperwork ready in advance, but not having the documents does not hinder your cruise in any way!!! It just adds a bit of paper shuffling at the pier. See you in 3 short weeks on Disney Wonder!!!!!

Bonnie...they were waiting for me on my doorstep today. Now to pack! See you in three weeks! I'm looking foward to some tropical weather, it's been raining here for the past two day and is suppose to rain through the weekend. I guess it's better than the snow my DB is getting in DC!

Where in DC is your DB? My DB also lives in the DC area (use to be in Gaithersburg-Germantown area, now in Silver Spring). I live about 2 hours up the road from DC. We have not seen our grass in about a month! Just when it was starting to peek through this week, we had another 5-6 inches of snow dumped on top of it. My Son has missed a lot of school due to snow too! We have several days that will have to be made up :( One of them is during the week we are on our cruise! Oh well! That's life!

He just moved up there with Capital One. Right now his in temp housing in McLeon, VA. He just loves all the snow. lol :jester:
It was kind of funny talking to him yesterday with snow falling and we were having 80 degree weather. He use to hate Florida and couldn't wait to leave when he was in HS and now he wishes he lived back here! Go figure!
