When Should I Plan for Nov 2009?

I hope you can help me understand what I should do to get a good Disney deal!

We, as a family, have always stayed off Disney property so we could all stay together(example- planning a March 2009 trip in a 3 bed/3 bath condo).
WELL! Some friends may want to go to Disney next November (early) and I would love to make it our first trip staying on Disney property if we can do it without breaking the bank.

We are Florida residents. I think that may give us a discount. I'd also like to get as big a discount as possible on the rooms,(would want a moderate or deluxe) or go during free dining to save more money.

I would appreciate any and all advice you can give. I get excited just considering actually being able to stay on Disney property!! thanks!

The first week of November is the last week of the food & wine festivle and also Jersey week...for the last 2 years all discounts were void at this time. We always go this week because that's when the temp starts getting colder at home and we love the food & wine festivle - but if you're shopping for a deal, I'd skip the first week of November. If you look at mousesavers.com they have a history of when specials have been offered.
