When should I order the Slipper Dessert?

I will be having Tea at the Grand Floridian on December 9th. I arrive at Disney December 2, so I think ordering before I leave home is a little early. Maybe order it on the 6th, that's 2 full days before my meal. Or should it be earlier than that?
