We are getting married in 68 days (But who's counting!?!?! :cloud9: ) When should I expect to hear from our EM?

I sent her an email with a couple of questions about a week ago. On Friday I got an out of office reply, but so far have not heard from her.

Should I start worrying? :confused3

I'm guessing you're recieved your planning packet and everything? If you have and are having an intimate wedding I wouldn't be too worried. I don't really hear from mine very often. I'm sure you're getting anxious! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! :bride:

Honeibee, congratulations! I wish you much happiness.

I don't know what the rules are for Intimates (I was a Custom), however, it does sound like you want to establish contact with your Event Manager. I would pick up that telephone and call her/him. If you get their answering machine, leave a message and give an explicit time and phone number where you may be reached. I think you are at least entitled to that much since your wedding is quickly approaching. Your request for contact is certainly not out of line.

i'm getting married VERY soon and STILL havent talked to my wedding coordinator yet. the only contact i've had with her is ME emailing her.

Wow! You must be getting more nervous then me! I'll be watching for your posts, since you are doing what we are doing, only a couple of weeks earlier!

Do you have a post somewhere about your plans? I am very curious. :goodvibes

Maybe we can compare notes! :)

It's kind of nerve wracking, isn't it, when you can't do anything but the clock is ticking....

I heard from her today. She answered all the questions I sent her, plus some. But......she told me she's leaving next week! We have a new EM starting April 8. :bride:

Lynne McKitrick was my old EM. She was really nice and always responded very quickly to my emails.

So is Lynn no longer going to be your EM? I'm a little confused. Sorry, but Lynn is also my EM and I'm wondering if she is leaving Disney for good, or what is happening.

I'm not happy about this. When I originally called Disney (the last week of March) no one called me back. I called and complained and was assigned to gloria. She confirmed everything for me and told me that I would be assigned an EM and would get a packet in the mail in two weeks. Well it has OBVIOUSLY been more than two weeks and have gotten nothing. I called on Wednesday to find out who my EM was because no one had contacted me. I was told Lynn was my EM. She has not sent me anything nor has anyone else. I have gotten the worst service from FTW and am thinking of scrapping the idea of a DW wedding for good because of this horrible service.

I haven't even been contacted by someone to CANCEL the first confirmed wedding date. I'm waiting to see how long its going to take. I've called them now 4-5 times and no one has contacted me. :sad2:

BAD FTW!!!!

Laura

When is your wedding? Disney focuses on the weddings that are in the near future first. They are so good at what they do, that they don't need much time to prepare. You do the planning, they prepare everything for you.
