Hi everyone. I am having lots of difficult deciding when to go for our upcoming disney trip. I have 3 scenarios and am hoping you could give me some advice! It is myself, my husband, 7 year old son, 4 year old son and 15 month old daughter.

My first choice is beginning of December....my worries are the cold and the baby will only be 15 months at that time and not sure she will do well.

My second choice is the beginning of March...my worries are the cold, large crowds, baby will now be 18 months so she will be a bit older.

Lastly, my final choice is the middle of May....my worries are now it may be too hot, crowds, baby will now be 20 months! Also, May seems so far away!

Oh I should mention we will be driving from NJ and are planning to stay offsite in a 3 bedroom so we have more space. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. I think my husband thinks I am crazy since this is all I talk about daily! Thanks again!

Well my first thought was early December has free dining, but thats no good if you are staying off-site. Early December is also value season, again, doesn't matter if you are off-site. Christmas decorations will be up, very pretty. It wont be cold either, pretty warm still.

March is nice weather. Cool in the mornings, warm during the days. Crowds should still be ok.

May is hotter, also more crowded and more expensive. Southern schools let out in may, crowding the parks.

As far as the baby's age, that never mattered to me. My older daughter was 21 months when she first went, my little one was 14 months her first trip. Every age is great.

Basically, my vote would be December. But no matter when you go, it's Disney so it's bound to be great!

If you really want to be assured of warm weather go in May.

I've been in March and had great weather and have also had really cool/cold weather. Same for December. One year I packed all shorts and t-shirts for our March trip and ended up having to buy sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc. as it was cold the whole week.

I like the beginning of December. I love seeing all the Christmas decorations up. I don't know if October is a possibility for you. To me, this is the best time of year, weatherwise, to go. Another good time is the last week of April. We were just there this year. Crowds were light to moderate and the weather was gorgeous.
