When should I go to WDW?

I posted this over on the THeme Park strategies boards, but didn't get much response, so I'm posting it here!

I am going to WDW after school gets out for the summer. I could go from June 5-9, or July 24-28.

I know the weather and crowds will be better in June. However, If we go in June, we will be staying at a moderate or at an offsite hotel, depending on what I can get via Priceline or Hotwire. But apparently, some parks close earlier.

In July, it will be hotter, and the crowds will be worse, but...I coud stay at the Swan or Dolphin by using the teacher discount (which is available for those dates.) And the parks are open later.

So, if you were me, when would you go?

Early June will be much better than July as alot of schools are still in session then. Enjoy your trip!

I would go in July, since you get the discount and stay on Property. Longer park hours as well. To me there is nothing like staying on Property.

We have been both times and I would pick June. I think we are going down about that time in June again this year. It really isn't bad other than the rain in the afternoon.

Wow, it looks like early June is the winner! I think I will take the majority's advice on this one. Now, to figure out where to stay!

ETA...I just thought of another reason to go in early June...hurricane season will have just recently started, so it would be far less likely to have a storm then than in late July. I think that cinches it!
