We are going from Nov 13-Nov 22 and are wanting to fly out of Buffalo or Detroit. Because we are going on a cruise, our flight home on the 22nd has to leave at noon or later. I am having a hard time finding good flights for this :( I found an airtran one that leaves at 7:18pm, but that is too late for my little ones and a loooong day at the airport.

Should I wait to book? Will more flights open up? :confused3

It's hard waiting on flights. We're planning a trip Oct. 2 to 7. We should have booked JetBlue the moment we decided to go ($89 on-way vs $144/104 down/back now out of Buffalo). SouthWest will open up booking until the end of October on April 18. I would imagine at that time they will say when they will open up booking until the end of November.

Though sometimes they add a flight or 2 when the demand is there, mostly Holiday time, often what you see when the routes are first released--is the best it gets, time wise and price.:confused3

We are going from Dec 14 thru the 21,st and booked our tickets in the middle of Feb for $233 Cnd and now since the price ofoil has risen, those same tickets are noe $344.00. I always book ASAP as long as the price seems reasonable.

If you want to fly out of Buffalo..........wait til Southwest comes out with their flights for that time, they usually have an early afternoon flight

OK, I decided to book a flight out of Rochester because the times and price were right!

Thanks everyoone :)

I've never flown out of Rochester, how much further is it, we are from Barrie and flew out of Detroit (Spirt) price was really good, but long drive to the airport! Just curious about Rochester!

It is about an hour past the Buffalo airport. We live in Milton and it will be 2.5 hours for us. Parking is apparently alot cheaper in Rochester as well.
