when sharing a room....

i have a question - as some of you know, im starting my learning program before the army on tuesday
im going to be in a room together with 2 of my friends who are going to the same program as me. now, ive been to summer camp practicly every summer of my life, so im not so worried about dorming with other ppl. but my friend suddenly said that the 3 of us have to talk about wut stuff we're bringing together. i said "wut do you mean?" and she said
"there are stuff that we dont all have to bring for ourselves. like we can share one shampoo and conditioner and soap."
heres the question (lol, sorry for the delay) - is it weird of me that id rather just bring all of my own stuff? it seems that bringing stuff together just complicates things that arent a problem to begin with!

I think I'd want to bring all my own stuff too, because you'd all use different brands.

You might want to sort some things out though, I'm not sure what you're going to need, but maybe who'll bring the TV or stereo or hairdryer or something

That sounds like so much fun though, living with 2 of your friends, you have to tell us all about it

I would wanna bring my own stuff too. Just tell them that you dont wanna share and that you would much rather just bring your own stuff.

about the big stuff - we talked about that. im bringin my guitar and one of them is bringing her stereo.

I use different stuff than my friends...either there hair would be a mess or my hair would a mess
but anyway...diseases and stuff get passed like that! lol

LOL, ick, sharing toiletries would be kinda yucky. I called my roommate and we talked about who would bring the TV, fridge, microwave, etc, but it never even occured to me to want to share shampoo and soap! hehe. Plus I have really curly hair and she probably doesn't - it just wouldn't work out. I definitely don't blame you for wanting your own bathroom stuff!

ok, i talked it over with my friend and everythings back to normal now.
i said to her that i dont want things to be weird between us just bcuz i dont want to share shampoo and it turns out she talked to her older sister about it (cuz she couldnt understand wut my problem was) and her older sis said "of course everyone brings their own shampoo! are you crazy?!" and then she realized how not good it would be for all of us to use the same shampoo. so we're cool now, and im so excited!!!!!! (freaked out about going, but still excited!!!!!!!!! )
