Should I bring a scarf or something brightly colored to distinguish mine from others? I understand they have a card in the back with your name on it, is that corrent? Just wondering on how to make things easier, since we have a lot of table service restuarants and will need to park our stroller and perhaps on some rides too. Thanks in advance for the tips! :)

absolutely! There is a card, but most will have the same black marker writing on them. Cast members frequently move strollers around a bit, so yours may not be quite where you left it. Something distinguishing will help you pick it out of a crowd.

I replaced the card with one I made myself ahead of time - bright pink. I also tied a bright scarf to it.

Thanks for the replies. As far as another card goes, what size did your make your bright pink one? It is standard letter size or otherwise? Thanks!

The cards are smaller than 8 1/2 x 11-probably about 5x8 but I'm sure some know the exact size.

Just wanted to say I was just at WDW last week and they have new strollers. They look simular-hard plastic but they look about 1/2 the size of the old ones. Little kids (4 years old) looked crowded in a single and young siblings (say 4 & 2) looked crowded in the doubles. The strollers used to be so big but they aren't anymore.

I didn't actually rent one on this trip so I can't say what the new ones are like to push or anything but they looked really small relative to what they were.

Look off site for a stroller company, they are cheeper and they deliver to your resort. You also can then take them to the bus/monorail.

We are using the 1998 Unofficial Guide to WDW for some background info and one tip a parent shared in it was putting a diaper in a clear bag and puring a little roorbeer on it. hey tied it to the handlebars. Mostly to prevent theft or accidental taking. Kinda gross, but definitely creative.....

I don't know how many people would fall for that, as there are so many garbage cans.

Why would anyone leave one on a stroller anyway? It's not that hard to toss into a garbage as you leave with a stroller.

Mark your own stroller in a spot that is hard to see.

If you are renting from Disney, they will replace you stollen stroller-but you have to go back to the rental area to get it!

OMG they steal strollers in the most magical place on earth? So sad!

Now I gotta figure out what I can do to avoid my stroller being stolen. We're bringing our stroller from home.

*sigh* Another headache from planning!

I actually think stroller theft is rare but let's face it there are not so nice people everywhere - even at Disney. We've been with our Combi about 5 times - not expensive but still $100 and it's still with us. I've seen MacLarens and other pricey ones at WDW so I think you'll be okay. I think I've actually heard more stories of people "borrowing" rented strollers but as long as you have your receipt I think they'll replace it no question, it would just be a hassle to go back to the front of the park to get it.
