I WAS WONDERING WHEN THE DIFFERENT PARKS CLOSE DUE TO OVER CROWDING WILL GUEST OF WDW STILL BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE PARK.

EXAMPLE I HEARD MK MIGHT CLOSE PART OF THE DAYS OVER SPRING BREAK, IF I AM AT AK AND GO OVER TO MK DURING THAT TIME WILL I BE ABLE TO GET INTO MK. WE WILL BE STAYING AT THE POP. :confused3 :confused3

Last time we went we were able to park hop to the closed parks because we were staying at the BC. I would assume you'll get the same perks at the POP. But to make sure call them.

You are guaranteed entry into a park because you are a resort guest. It may not be the park you want to visit.

What if you were in Magic Kingdom and left for Dinner or something, if you are not a resort guest, but was in the park earlier, can you get back in?

The parks shut due to capacity in three levels - ultimately though, if there's no room, there's no room - you won't be let back in simply on the basis that you were in there earlier.

Wow! Now that totally scares me. So you just loose your ticket for that day? If you don't have a Park Hopper, will they let you get into another park?

No, if your using a one day non hopper and leave, you will not be allowed in if the park reaches level 4 capacity. Even is you are staying in a WDW resort.

The Phases are as follows:
-Phase 1 = normal park operation everyone is let in.
-Phase 2 = day guests are no longer allowed in. Resort Guest, CM's going for fun, and AP holders are still let in.
-Phase 3 = CM's and AP holders are no longer let in. Only Resort Guests are let in.
-Phase 4 = No one is let in.

Don't worry. It is very unusual for the parks to close due to capacity. The chances of this happening during a typical Spring Break week are small, and even then, the parks will typically continue to stay open for Disney park guests. Sure, parks occasionally close for the day, but this is typically limited to the week after Christmas, the 4th of July, and Easter week. Parks rarely get to Level 4 closure. Even on New Year's Eve, Magic Kingdom was allowing Disney resort guests into the park at 9pm. Stick with your plan as scheduled for Spring Break. No need to worry! :)

the only days that i know that MK closes due to park compacity its christmas day, new years, and forth of july... these days the park closes off at about 10am and generally like that for the rest of the day...

A few questions regarding this:

We were at MK NYE (allllllll day). Late afternoon we just happened to be at the front near the gate entrance. Guests were being allowed in with. There were not many. And more guests leaving that were entering.

I am wondering how it is determined when and how many guests to allow in throughout the day. It appears to be very fluid.

If guests are initially turned away, if they linger, and inside guests leave, the incoming must be allowed in at a point.

And curious too -- has anyone here ever been turned away due to capacity?

The MK has reached phase 2 many days surrounding these holiday's. Last Easter it happened several times. It's more important for off-site guests to know as they need to be aware.

People definitely get turned away if they are not among the allowed entrants during a particular park phase.

The park managers keep readjusting admission based on actual movement within the park, not gate count. It should be noted that capacity is NOT controlled on a "one person leaves and one person is allowed to enter" basis. Once the park reaches any stage, it will stay in that phase until park management deems it safe to lower it. If you do not qualify for admittance in the current Stage/Phase, no amount of begging, pleading, or crying will get you in at that time.

Thanks for the input, that infromation is very helpful for our trip. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
