When oh when will alamo/national discounts go past 12/14/06?!?!?

Hate to say this, but your chances aren't great. I did this a few years ago and there was NEVER a discount between something like 12/16 and 1/2.

First of all...don't give up, keep trying.
If there are 2 drivers, you may want to look into renting 2 smaller cars.

I'm on a watch too for April 2007. I have Dollar booked at a good rate, but I'd rather use Alamo or National if I can get their rates to come down!

Not sure when you're visiting in Dec. but, if it's near a holiday you may run into black out dates (which I'm fighting for columbus day this year)...

hope it doesn't happen to you, I'd book something to have & vehicle & keep checking rates.
