I decided to call and ask if there were any codes attached to my family's nams or to my mom and dad who will be travelling with us. We all went two years ago, so we were all in the system. The cm said there was a code attached to my husband's name. I was very excited and asked her if we could apply the code to my parents reservation also. She put me on hold and came back and said yes. We ended up with a WL woods view for 7 nights, total $1,575.00 which figures out to be a 20% off room only discount. I had heard about the 40% off code but I was happy to get what we could.
Today I called to pay the deposit on our reservation, The cm told me that our deposit would be $225.00 exactly what I had been quoted. Then he said that my parents deposit would be $168.75. I questioned this since they are also getting a woods view and most likely will be in an adjoining room with us. He put me on hold for a LONG time and finally came back and explained that they had a different code from us but that he would apply their code for us to give us the better discount! I told him the other cm had not mentioned the better code for my parents and he said that she probably just ignored it. Now we are paying $1,181.25 for 7 nights at the WL in a woods view room. If we had no discount it would be around $1,900 and some. I know this is a long story but when you call make sure you ask about everybody's names that you're traveling with, if there are codes attached and who has the best code with their name. I completely believe that it also depends on the cm you get. Don't give up!
