When is your Thanksgiving break?

Just curious when your kids will be getting out of school for the Thanksgiving break? If you are travelling for the holiday, when are you getting on the road? We are travelling and just trying to get a feel for what the traffic potential may be......we are headed north.

We are out the WHOLE week of Thanksgiving. I do not know of anyone going anywhere because of the economy.

We get Wed., Thurs. and Fri. off. We aren't travelling, but have family coming from Fl and Ohio. I can't wait!

My break is Thursday and Friday. I'm a teacher.

Oh...we are not going anywhere.

We have the entire week of Thanksgiving off. My family isn't traveling but my sister and her family will be coming here on Wednesday then going home Thursday evening.

Wow, I didn't realize some folks get a whole week off, that's great. Our kids have a half day on Wednesday and are out of school Thursday and Friday. They do get two full weeks at Chrismas though.

We're out Thursday and Friday. We're heading down to South Carolina Wednesday evening.

1/2 day on Wednesday, off Thursday & Friday. We're staying home.

My kids school gives them Thursday, Friday, and Monday off. We are not traveling.

Wed-Thurs and Friday. We are not going anyplace though other than out to a restaurant for thanksgiving dinner- I have to be home for the black Friday shopping and then on Wed. before we have a 6 hour long candy and nut booth for the girl scouts at the supermarket.

Our high schooler has Wed-Fri off, the middle school only has Thurs-Fri off. I think I am taking Wed off and then our office is closed Thurs-Fri. We don't typically travel on Thanksgiving. We will probably go to the in-laws for Thanksgiving but that is only 30 miles away.

Wow, we always have the whole week off for Thanksgiving- I assumed everyone did.

We're heading to our first ever Disney cruise- 7 nights on the Magic with 2 stops at Castaway Cay- can you tell I'm excited?!

This is the first year ever that the kids have the whole week off (they combined the 2 days for parent/teacher conferences that are usually in early November with the Thanksgiving holiday).

We're not going anywhere, though, so you don't need to worry about us. My DMIL is traveling from Indianapolis to west of Chicago. She tools along pretty well, so you don't need to worry about her getting in your way, though!!

I'll have to check to make sure, but I think DS is going to be out from the Weds before Thanksgiving until the Monday following, so like...3 days plus the weekend.

We are off the 26-30th. We don't plan on travelling this year, thank goodness!

i work from home so it will be crazy here!!
no traveling as we head off to WDW 12/20!!
