I went to Disney this year on Spring Break and honestly it wasn't that bad. There were some lines that were long, but it wasn't as bad as people said it was going to be. Being a teacher I'm limited to when I can vacation, and after one trip in late May one year, I would never again go that late (or in the summer) as the heat was unbearable.
We are supposed to go Mardi Gras Week which is at the end of February in 2009. Our spring breaks in Louisiana- either run the week before or week after Easter... ours happen to be week after.
Glad to see the week I'm going(3/1-3/6) has no one listed! I was hoping this week would be too late for winter breaks/too early for spring breaks! It's so nice not planning vacations around my own kids breaks anymore!
I have two spring breaks to follow...one for the school district I teach in (substitute) and one my college follows (grad school). I will be going to Disney during my college's spring break - (March 14 - 21) - but now for the whole time. My public school spring break is April 6-13.
Ours is the week leading up to March 22 (which is my bday). If I'm not working at the CP next spring, then I will hopefully be in NYC for spring break. I'm excited!
