When is your Spring Break?

I am planning a trip during my spring break (I work at a university) which is March 10-18, 2007.

My school district (and probably most if not all central NY schools) is off 4/6 - 4/15.

I am happy to see we are one the lowest percentage for our Spring Break!!!!! This will be our first trip during our spring break and I was really worried about crowds.

Ours is March 17-25th and we will be at Disney again this year at that time!

My college spring break starts January 24 which the last time I checked is not spring. It is also a little over a month ater we get back. I wish it was a little latter but I still get to go home. But they really should call it a late winter break.

I just found this website which lists the calanders for all Florida school districts (Bookmarked it as I think its gonna help with future planning)

According to this Florida school district Spring Breaks are as follows

Week of March 12 - 4 Districts
Week of March 19 - 25 Districts
Week of March 26- 15 Districts
Week of April 2 - 15 Districts
Weeks of April 9- 6 Districts
Week of April 16 - 1 District

But NYC schools are actually out 3/31/07 - 4/10/07.

Spring break for us is April 2nd -9th.

HMMMM. We have a trip planned for 3/10-3/18. I didn't realize it was a popular spring break week. We live in NJ, and ours is at Easter 4/14-20, I think.

Now I'm really not sure what I'll do! My kids Spring break is the most common in Florida (25 Districts off) but It looks like therest of the country arrives a few weeks later.

We were there last Saturday as the Thanksgiving crowds were beginning to arrive and even though we had a GAC for my son, the crowds in general when just walking around were not fun. Especially when the days leading up to last weekend, the parks were practically ghost towns.

Where we live now there is one break in March. However, growing up in Massachusetts we had two breaks - one in Feb and one in April. So, though April would be the true spring break, I think it's important to note that there were two for the people who are wondering why there are so many kids at the parks in Feb!

We're in Virginia. Our spring break for public school is always the week after Easter.

Most of Maryland seems to be eaither the week before or the week after Easter. Ours is April 4th through the 9th.

We are going during my kids Spring Break which is April 22- 28. Glad to see not too many others with that week off.
