When is your Spring Break 2011?

Yep - we're going to be there next week (March 21-25), which according to the poll, should be the busiest week. Certainly the poll may not be representative of true crowds (but rather representative of when most of the forum members will be in DL!), but it should still be busy.

The good news is that next week doesn't have very many western states on Spring Break (from what I've read, some areas of WA and OR - and here in BC, but I can't find too many others). I think maybe this is why this past week was so busy: the entire state of AZ was there (and part of TX!). Lots of spring breaks for AZ (college and the younger kids). But, who knows - right? Maybe it's just going to get exponentially busy as spring proceeds!

Seems like Monday and Wednesday were really busy this week. Also have read that the park was 'crowded' but some of the busy rides didn't have any longer lines than usual. What does that mean? More people just 'hanging out'? More little kids that can't do the big/busy rides? I am fascinated by the ebbs and flows of the crowds! This is why I am so impressed with Ridemax! I can't wait to see what it does for me next week! I will definitely be reporting on THAT!

Our Spring Break seems to be much longer than most of yours, March 28 to April 12. DS goes to private school, but all schools here would have a similar length of time with public schools taking a late March break and Catholic schools usually starting their break on Good Friday.

We've always avoided travelling during Spring Break, but if I'd realized that the break in the States is so short, I'm sure we could have worked it to our favour in past years...live and learn! Thanks for the lesson

Actually here in Calgary the main CBE break is March 28 to April 3. The year round schools have from March 28 until April 10. My DD attends a regular school, and we will just miss 4 days of classes to have a 2 week break. I am a school bus driver, so I have to work the trips out to miss the least amount of time as possible.

My spring break is the last week of March.

Speaking of which, I went during Spring Break of '08, and Holy Cow! It was a MADHOUSE!!!

I think we are going to go during spring break for us in N. Cal..but we are going to go T-Th! We shall see!
