I am wondering about how the Christmas breaks fall this year. We just made arrangements for Dec.18-24. I know the 23 and 24 will be crowded, but I don't know about the week before. Last year we were there the 17-23 and up until the 22 everything was great.

Thanks for any info!

Ours doesn't start until 24th - but I think we are probably in a minority, as far as getting out that late goes...

Our dd's Christmas break doesn't start until December 24 either. She will be out starting the afternoon of Dec 24 through January1 (she goes back on the 2nd). We were very disappointed at the short break this year - no time for a trip to celebrate dd's 16th birthday - oh well.

Our kids last day is December 21, and they return on January 3. However, they will be missing the week from 12/17 - 12/21 while we are in Orlando.

My school's Christmas break runs from December 24th - January 7th. This is a WEIRD schedule for us, normally we get off around the 17th-19th and go back January 2nd. However, because we get 2 weeks every year, and New Year's is on a Tuesday, it got changed. Then January 7th is a "staff development day" - no students. So we are planning our next trip to WDW from January 1-6, 2002.

Philadelphia public schools X-mas break is the 21st to the 2nd.

In Middle Tennessee our break is from Dec. 19-Jan 2, unless we have snow days to make-up before Christmas. Could happen!!

We get two weeks every year, so we are 12/21 - 1/7. What I miss from NJ is the one week in Feb one week at Easter. We get Easter, but just a long weekend in Feb.

My final is Dec 12, my daughter's finals are the week prior. Will have an ASL party Dec 18 which I will be missing as I will be out of town.

Our kids "real" break is Dec. 19th to Jan. 2nd. My two Disney kids will be "magic bound" on the 15th!!! I asked them, do you want to stay in school and make it to your class Christmas parties or get out early and go to Disney? Guess what they said?!?:D
