When is your school out?

Near Charleston, SC we get out May 25th, but will be back in school on August 7th.

I honestly can't think of ANY school that gets out before the first week of June. I think you'll be safe with any date before Memorial Day. We're planning on going before Memorial Day too! Maybe we'll see you there!

Thanks! I need to make my decision soon as to which week to go. I don't know why this is so hard for me I think I am trying too hard to make it all perfect. Maybe I need to relax a bit more and just go for it!

The schools in here in Central FL are almost all (if not all) out the week before Memorial Day. Here in Orange Cty we only had one hurricane day to make up this year!!!

Oh wow! I never even thought about that. We usually have snow days to make up, but none so far this year either. I am leaning towards going the week of May7th. I did read here that some were saying that may be a busy week due to conventions. That is what got me thinking maybe I should go the next week. That is Mother's Day week! So many decisions to make! Dining plan, no dining plan, package, no package.. I have never felt so confused in the past trip planning.

Hate to tell you all this...I'm in South Florida, only three to four hours from WDW and we get out of school on May 25, the Thursday before Memorial Day. We also go back this year on August 7th so I already know a lot of people planning their trips for immediately after school ends.

That sounds so early to go back. I am glad I brought this topic up Thanks for all the input!

Here in Maryland, we are always in school until at least June 14th....but if you go in May, you might see us. We always go for an 8 day trip then, before the summer crowds.

That sounds fine to me My kids will be missing some school. Since I am pulling them, I am hoping for good weather, good times and smaller crowds
