When is Your April School Vacation?

Just so I can plan on the crowds, when is your school's April vacation? I swear that ours is usually the Good Friday, and the week following Easter.

This year our school vacation is the week of April 19-23

By April Vacation do you mean "spring break" or do some schools get 2 vacations?

Same here - a few of the schools around our town in NJ have off next week instead of this week, but we are always off the week before Easter.

Nearly all of Maine's public schools follow this also. I was tentatively planning to trip to WDW for April vacation 2011 but Easter is late next year (April 24). It would be at the end of vacation and I hear that crowds can be killer around Easter. I love being a teacher but it greatly limits my Disney vacation opportunities. So DH and I might try Disneyland instead.

What is "April School Vacation"?

We don't have any school breaks in April.

Our Spring Break is usually the 3rd week of March. This year, it was March 15 - 19.

We don't get spring break or April vacation here. Our kids have a long weekend for Easter (Th, Fri and Mon) and that's it for us.

I'm not going to Disney . But if airfare goes down, maybe

We're on spring break right now. It's usually the end of March.

Air fare won't go down since they know they have us...it is costing us a small fortune to fly the four of us down this year. Our only consolation is that we are DVC members and AP holders so we don't also have to pay for room & tickets....but it's a small fortune that time of year! (and I got our airfare the day Jetblue posted that week...)
