When is the latest u can pick up a scooter?

My mom twisted her ankle. We will be going to Magic Kingdom in the morning then going back to our room and taking a nap. Then coming back to Epcot for After hours party... specifically Wine and Dine Rundisney Party that starts at 10pm. Can we still pick up an ev at like 9 or 10pm? Does it close for pick up at some point in the evening? We will be saving the receipt from MK earlier that day to use in Epcot.

It has to stay open for returns. No personal experience with late pick ups.

in-park rentals will be open. The challenge may be whether there is a unit re-charged and ready to send back out with you. If not they will put you on a waitlist and allow use of a manual wheelchair in the interim.

Renting offsite would mean that she would have it for getting around the resort as well, depending on where you are staying, that could be extremely beneficial.
