Planing a Christmas trip in 2008 and would like to know when the Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is finished. Want to make sure that we're able to see it.
I remember during a Holidays at WDW special on the Travel Channel they say the Gingerbread house is set up around Thanksgiving, so if your going to be there during Christmas you will see it for sure.

TIA!!
Here is an outdated photo showing it up by December 1st in 2003.
Last year we were there the 1st week of Nov and they were about 1/2 way done building it. They were giving samples out in the lobby. It's really yummy. The gingerbread is dipped in dark chocolate . I would imagine it would be complete by the middle of Nov. We're going the 1st week in Dec and can't wait to see it.
It is ALWAYS up BY Thanksgiving...sometimes a week before, sometimes they finish it a few days before.
If you're going to be there AFTER Thanksgiving, you'll definitely see it. If you're going right around Thanksgiving, you'll probably see it. If you're going between Halloween (a few days after, actually) and Thanksgiving, chances are you'll see it being built...at some stage or other.
