when is the best time to start packing???

I always pack the weekend before but the cases come down and things start getting put in the spare room a couple of weeks before that

Normally take 3 half full suitcases and come home with 3 or 4 full suitcases!!!

I am buying a new suitcase as one of ours is quite small and for the 3 of us this year I am going to be taking out 4 suitcases (one will have DD nappies etc in so can then be used for stuff we buy out there on the return.

I am sorry but the mention of 2 suitcases for 6 people had me going

ok i think i may have some kind of disorder! I normally start to pack ... 2 months in advance! I have three young children though, i work and do all the packaging myself, well thats my excuse and i am sticking to it! Ill go and bury myself a hole now

I might be weird but I like the whoel packing and re-packing. If I did it all at once and it was done, I'd feel really unsatisfied! lol

I usually start "gathering" things into one of the spare bedrooms about a week before but don't actually pack until the night before.

I'm very minimalist and we usually have 2 suitcases between the 4 of us with my two DDs taking the most. I'm very good at packing and think I've done a great job when it's all gone in but then my hubby comes along with all the camera stuff, recharging stuff and I then have to re-arrange everything.

As for taking more than two pairs of shoes for men - which men own more than two pairs??? I mean - 1 pair of trainers and 1 pair of shoes - what more do you want! Leave the shoes to the women please!

The best time to start packing is when you want to!!!

I am a night before packer, I do plan what we are taking about a week before so that everything is clean that I want but the suitcases stay put until the last minute.
