When is the best time of year to Go to DL?

We have the in's and outs of WDW down to a science but have never visited
DL. We are considering April, June or August of 2007. When would you suggest based on crowds and weather?

All of those times seem like busier times to me. I know that June and August are summer months so they are obviously more crowded and HOT--but not humid like Florida

But depending on when Easter is in April, and spring breaks and such, April could be a pretty busy time too, but nicer weather.

I have never gone in those months, but I have had friends that have, and they said they had a great time!!

Well, the best times are Jan-Feb or Sept-Oct. But if you have school aged children and have to go when they are not in school, I would suggest the first week they are out of school, be it late May or early June (depending on where you live). Or maybe if your spring break is in March, go then. March is busy, but not crazy busy. What month are you leaning towards?

I may be in the minority with this one, but I have become a big fan of going to DLR during mid-summer. Why? Because there are some downsides to visiting in non-peak time and upsides to visiting during peak time. Here is a run down from a recent post I made:

I do avoid weekends in the summer, but other than that summer is my first choice.

April is chancy. Alot of the people who have been there this month have gotten rained on.

We went early December and I can't imagine a better time - small crowds, no queues, Christmas decorations and parades and temperatures that are cool to warm in the day!

For April depending when you go you will most likely run into the spring break crowds and possibly even easter crowds. June first week will probably be the lightest and August last week will probably be the lightest.

I don't think I would go in April the spring break crowds are insane. If those were the only three months I could go I would pick either the June or August option. However if heat bothers you it will be hotter in August.

Personally my favorite time to go is in Janaury no crowds and great weather! However sounds like you are limited to those three months!
