WHen is the best month to go?

I am planning on taking my kids to WDW in Septemper (19th -22nd) DO you know what the weather will be like, and the crowds....
When is the best time of the year to go as far as weather and crowd control?

Hi and welcome!

Crowds will be light, weather will be hot in mid-September.

You'll get lots of opinions on the best time to go. Crowds are probably lightest in September, early December, and from just after New Year's until mid-February. However, September is hot if you don't like heat, and Dec/Jan/Feb can be quite chilly if you don't like it cold.

The temps during Aug + Sept are very similar. You will experience heat and high humidity.. and daily afternoon showers (they clear up quite quickly tho). Go and have fun!

Just be aware that September is smack dab in the middle of hurricane season. It's highly unlikely that Florida will be hit again like last year, but there's still a chance.

This year will be our third trip in September. Last year, we went in between the two hurricanes! My nerves were shot wondering if they were going to hit while we were there but I woulsn't go any other time. It's pretty hot and humid but you aren't waiting in long line, which is ablessing when dealing with kids. Good luck and have fun!
