I know this is a weird question, but does anyone know when the update the disneyland.com/ap site? so if they were to add a new special offer or something is there a certain time anyone has noticed that? I know I am weird!

You are not weird. I was thinking the same thing a couple of days ago. :thumbsup2

I also have wondered that! :confused3 I have been checking a couple times a day for the new Fall AP rate and it seems like nothing ever changes on that site. I think the last update was the TSMM info.

Does anybody know where the AP rate will be shown? Will it be on the main AP page??? :confused3

I just called DLR the other day and asked when the next AP rate will be released.
The CM said she did not know, but I remember last August I read about the latest AP rate on disboards and I called to change my ressie.
Hopefully they will include GCH this time.

I am planning a trip in January, but have not purchased my AP yet...Is there any good rates available for 01/10-01/14?
If there is I'll have to speed up my planning ;)

I think they might put a blip about it in the Discounts page, but you'd definitely see it on the Hotel Availability Calendar.

No, not yet as far as I know. You can call to ask, but they aren't showing further out than October, I think, on the AP website (and those are just the normal 10% off rack rate rates).

As for not updating the site, I've seen tons of stuff! There are 5 discounts for non-Disney things (Chivas tickets, Angels tickets, a symphony, etc), and most importantly there is an excellent AP renewal + upgrade deal for those inside of 30 days of renewing! It's changed a lot recently. Just not with the hotel rates. :)

Thanks Bumbershoot....
January packages aren't even available yet. The CM I spoke with yesterday said to check back in August...so maybe something for the AP's will show then too. (Of course if I wait to purchase the AP there's a good chance the princing will go up....)

Last year they raised the prices for tickets and APs on September 20th. APs went up $20.

If you're looking into packages, the only place I've heard of that has packages for APs is through mousesavers. Of course you can start with a normal package and then upgrade that hopper (that's what we did) but that's not getting the AP discount on the room, b/c the discount is the package deal. If that makes any sense. :)

If I understand you correctly, Mousesavers offer package discounts to AP holders, whereas it is a "room discount" if I use the AP through Disney?

I've been posting in a confused manner all day, so I really apologize that I've been confusing people.

Normally, a package is room + ticket, and some extra little things like lanyards and whatnot.

I haven't seen a package for an AP holder (meaning there would be no ticket) through anyone (disneyland.com, costco travel, AAA, but I haven't checked getawaytoday.com for it) but Mousesavers, which has the following info:

Packages for Disneyland Annual Passholders

Disneyland Annual Passholders can purchase Disneyland Resort packages without purchasing tickets. Packages may include accommodations and other exclusive items that make your visit to the Disneyland Resort truly magical.

Packages include:

*

Accommodations at one of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort
*

Preferred Seating to select shows at Disney's California Adventure
*

Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness! Guests can enter Toontown an hour before the general public.
*

Walt Disney Travel Company collectible pin, lanyard and luggage tag (one per person)

You can only call to find out more, so I do not know the price at all.

But I can't imagine it would be similar to the prices we saw last year for the room-only AP discounts in the Fall, with PP at 129, PP concierge at 169, DLH at 149, and so on. I would imagine those room-only AP rates, should they have something similar this year, would be far better than a package deal through mousesavers.

But I don't totally know, I'm only surmising. :scared:

I'm still waiting for them to put the October park hours up, which they should be doing in August so I imagine that's when they'll put up the AP fall rate. It's taking TOO long!:dance3:
