When is Spring Break where you live?

Ours in CNY is the week of April 14th.
I know there are a few polls on this on one of the baords. Lots of responses.
There are many on breaks until April 21st. There are a few then and then it drops to about nothing the last week of April.

(So that is when we are going )

My kids have off 2 weeks in April (5-20 approximately).

WOW!!!

We only get the Thur., & Fri. off before Easter, & the Monday after.
That's IT for the entire time between President's Day & Memorial Day.

Same here in Westchester County, NY (just north of NYC). Hoping to plan our first Spring Break in WDW, if I can get time off work! Maybe with the staggered schedule of breaks around the country, it won't be too crowded for anyone!

That's what I'm thinking with the staggered schedules, these threads are helpful when it comes to planning. We leave two weeks from Monday, we're pulling our son out of school. We've been pulling him for vacations for about 6 years, but we're finding it's getting harder to do as he gets older (7th grade).

I think our next trip will be February school recess, but with that you're gambling with the weather up here.

In Vermont during spring break April 17 is last day of school then back on April 28. February 21 is last day of school back on March 5 for winter recess.

We alternate every year, depending on when we go in the summer/fall. We take the younger kids out of school for 5 days to make it a two week vacation; (6th grade/kindergarten). The older kids are in college and go and come back at different times.

Spring Break for us is from 3-14-08 to 3-21-08!!!!! We are spending it at WDW and the kids don't know yet!!!! DD was just pouting about not being able to go back to Disney......

I can't wait to tell her, but it will have to wait until Christmas!!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone who has posted. I am really considering an April trip at this point, and the breaks do look fairly spread out, which would avoid everyone being there at the same time. This is the first year the break has been so far away from Easter.

Our Spring Break is the week after Easter, starting on Good Friday. We are located in Wisconsin.

April 25th is the last day of school until May 5th, when they go back. We also have a week in February with no school. I guess the April one would be spring since February would be considered winter. I like it since it was so easy to book AKV's concierge level for that week.

We don't have "Spring Break" here (southeast Louisiana), but we do have Mardi Gras holidays the first week of February and for Easter we're off Good Friday and the week following Easter. We end the school year May 16th.

Peak season ends on March 30th. I think regular season starts then. Also I don;'t like that Friday and Saturday stays are more money than Sunday thru Thursday, really it is like any other hotel but it seems wrong.


Airfare so far I have found to be high. I am going 4/5 - 4/13 though.

Does anyone on here live in this area? I have asked my cousin numerous times for the info and she does not get back to me. I am taking kids from St. Albans school district and was wondering the dates for there break. I tried google but nothing on there.
