When is Spring Break OVER? COMPLETELY?

I know that all different counties and states have different times that the kids are on Spring Break but WHEN are they ALL BACK IN SCHOOL? For Miami, Spring Break is the first week of April usually.

Easter is April 11th this year. I would say by April 18th you should be in the clear.

This is our first trip in May since our honeymoon 11 yrs ago. Hope it is a pretty low crowd time! We're spoiled since our Dec. trip.

i don't know how to link a thread (haven't done it yet!!) but there is a spring break 2004 thread that lists every imaginable state's spring break day (just search for spring break 2004 and it should pop right up)....MOST breaks seem to be done by April 18, however, little states, I think NJ, CT, MA and maybe ME are on break various times up to the 25th or 26th of April. We are going the week of April 18 and are hoping for much smaller crowds than the two weeks surrounding Easter when MOST schools are on break!

Most are done by April 16 with a FEW (and very few) stragglers.

No - I wouldn't say that April 16th is the end - there are a number of school districts in CT that will just be starting that weekend.....so that brings them through April 25th.

PS - There are some state mandated tests that fall in the second week of April, I believe - so their break is scheduled later than most others, regardless of when Easter falls.
