Just trying to figure out how busy it is going to be if we go during our spring break 2016. We have spring break from April 16-24th. I am hoping we are in a slower time at WDW! TIA!!!

We don't have a Spring break, just a long weekend at Easter.

I'm in the Boston area with ya so our dates are the same and we are coming down then!! 221 days! I know the new Star Wars half marathon overlaps with our April vaca, but not sure how that will impact crowds.

I wonder if Massachusetts schools are in the minority as far as spring break? I'm hoping! Seems like a lot of schools base it on Easter. Which is great for us! We are from the south shore.

I'm really hoping it isn't too busy because we were going to do a long weekend in May for Star Wars weekends or 9 days at spring break. I'd rather stay longer obviously!

I'm not from MA but I was there for the same week (MA Spring Break) this year and I thought crowds weren't bad, certainly better than I'd expected. As long as Easter is early (which it is next year), I'd expect the 4/16 week to be ok.

We are on the south shore too!
Touring plans shows the 4/16 week to be between 4-7 crowd levels depending on the day. We have always gone April vacation even when I was a kid/teen and the only times it was horrendously crowded was when Easter fell on that week. Otherwise it was managable.

Yay! I'm so happy to hear this! I hope it's a "low" crowd time!

Good to hear! I went one time in April but it was the week of Easter and it was awful! So busy ! So we have stayed away from April but we are finally ready to try it again! I figure since Easter is weeks before it should be a bit more manageable !

In Northern VA...our spring break is the week after Easter so 25-april 1 but we are in Catholic School. The majority of schools here have it the week before Easter so 19-28 of March

I wouldn't say "low," but not a problem. The only time that felt crowded to me was late day/ evening Tuesday at MK but I'm convinced MK is always a madhouse. And it was still not Easter-type crowds.

We have From Good Friday (March 25th) to Monday April 4th. You have a pretty late spring break so should miss the crazy crowds. I'm thinking we might go for our spring break if I can swing it. We usually do June when it's pretty crowded 7-9 out of 10 and really hot. We've done Thanksgiving week before so have experienced 9s and 10s crowd wise already; but without the heat. So I know without the heat, the crowds are manageable for us.

Ours is April 16-24 and I have flights booked for the 15 thru 25th, can't wait. Same state but my home town is the week before. I am so glad it is later this year. Last year ours was Easter week. The beaches were so crowded. We arrived on Good Friday and went home 12 days later. The Monday after the first week we were there, the beach was heavenly since everyone went home the day before.
