I am planning a trip to go to Disney World soon, and I want to know if Magic Kingdom is more crowded on a Monday or a Sunday?

P.S. First post! :earsboy:

We went to MK in May before Memorial day and all the books and boards were saying Sun would be very crowded. However, we found it to be far less crowded then when we went back on Monday night. (About a 5-6 on a 1-10 scale) Go figure. :confused3
Most tipsters will say that Sunday and Monday will be more crowded since that is usually the first park that Saturday arriving tourists go to.

I have always found MK more crowded on Sunday than on Mondays. Maybe because a lot of people start their vacations on Saturdays, and start their first full day in MK. At least, that is what we used to do until I came up with this Sundays-are-crowded theory.

Hmmm...Depends on what time of year you're going and what the EMH schedules are as well as what nights Spectromagic is showing.

We will be there in 11 days and I am struggling with the same thing. So here's what I'm thinking...Sunday will be our first day at the parks and as much as I love to do MK on our first park day, I'm going to wait until Mon, hopefully missing weekend crowds and because Sun 1/22 is EMH evening. Now the only problem with Mon. is that it is Spectromagic. which will get busy, but I think the morning should be fine because people will have stayed late the night before. Hope this helps...make sure to check Spectro and EMH schedules. :flower:
