When is Gay Days 2006?

Does anyone know the exact days for Gay Days next year. I know they are the first weekend of June - is that weekend the end or does it last throughout the first week of June. I know it gets extremely more crowded during this time so that is why I'm asking. Thanks.

In 2005 it was June 1-6, which was a Wednesday (evening) through Monday. In 2006 it's scheduled for May 30 through June 4.

The Gay Days 2006 website will keep a listing of events as they develop, in case you want to avoid crowds. There's also an old website that you can check for historical patterns.

We arrived the Monday after "Gay Days". The crowds appeared to be "normal" for that time of the year.

We took a last minute surprise trip for Star Wars weekends 6/3/05 - 6/6/05.

MGM was packed all weekend but I don't think the other parks were as bad as I was expecting. I would reccommend checking out the gay days web site & just avoid the park that is designated for that particular day. Seemed to work for us.

FWIW, Star Wars Weekends dates have not been announced yet & that definately does have an impact on crowd levels. Although if you usually go in July/August your perspective may be different - we go off season so...
