Seriously Epcot has to be the borest park at the World if your like me and go once a year they need something exciting and new cause the resturants there just don't keep me coming back .So now I ask whats your ideas for a new attraction at Epcot there due for something new .

I personally love Epcot how it is now, but I would love a Mount Fuji roller coaster to go in the Japan pavillion. I would rather Disney improves on the Studios and Animal Kingdom though.

Epcot is far from boring, but yes it does de-emphasize thrill rides. But Test Track and Soarin are fun

I love Epcot! Its my second favorite park, I agree that DHS is the one that needs to be updated the most...

We went to O! Canada! for the first time this year -- they should have called it O! Ontario. The East Coast was not represented at all, except maybe in the movie (we didn't stay around to watch it -- by that time we were just utterly disappointed and moved on to something better)

So...how about a water ride, splash mountain type of thing, with ocean theming, lighthouses, etc?

Aw, Epcot is my favorite park. It's supposed to have a more laid-back feel. It's a place to learn new things, and personally, I think thrill rides would de-emphasize this point. I love Soarin' and Test Track, but something too "big" just wouldn't fit the tone of Epcot. I agree with gymnastgirlflips; as the park that has the biggest thrill rides, I would rather the attention be focused on DHS.

I love Epcot, Test track and soarin are amazing and i love World Showcase its a great park yea it would be nice to have a new attraction but not really needed atm.

I love Epcot the way it is. Now they should do something with Animal Kingdom. Mt Everest is the only reason we go there. Once the ride is over we're out.

If you're looking for fun at Epcot, I suggest you try the new Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure. :thumbsup2

I would love to see new stuff in all the parks. But AK, in my opinion, needs the most work.

Yeah, its true they just added the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.
I don't agree with AK needing the most work. There are the shows (Festival of the Lion King!) and then seeing the animals. I guess some people really think that is more of a zoo kind of thing, but if you ask me, the atmosphere surrounding the animals make it more interesting. They aren't always behind glass just sitting there... they move around more. I always get picture of the tigers playing together. And they have the attraction Dinosaur.. its just a really big park to explore.
DHS needs the most work to me because of the theming, I would say. Yes, they have alot of big attractions now, but now they need to make more interesting smaller things to do. Get everything updated, and make sure it fits in with the Hollywood theme. DHS has alot of potential if they just worked on it.

IMAGINEARING:

I would like more 3D movies, on a rotating basis, at the KODAK Pavillion.
Something like a new Musical 3D number (like Captain E O but without Michael Jackson). This theatre does not need to be dedicated to just one theme. Honey I Shrunk (bored) the Audience seems kinda old now.

I wished they had made a 3D version filming of the Tapestry of Nations Parade, before shutting it down. Disney should make a 3D show of everything it shuts down, before it shuts it down.
Disney can make a World of the Past 3D Pavillion Show, to showcase this.

Reopen Millenium Village, or use that Building Oddysey I think it is called, for something like it. A rotating guest country and cuisines for two year visits. Give it a little World's Fair flare.

Take that MetLife no longer used building, The Body or something, and make it a prototype House of Tomorrow. A moving sidewalk type of tour. Think THE JETSONS, but like in 2039.

How about a combined ride between the UK and France, THE CHUNNEL. Could it connect to the Boardwalk too ?

Make the British Beatle Look a Like Band, Look Younger ! We could also use an Elton John sing a like, and a James Blundt sing a like. Train the actors at the UK Pavillion to also do Benny Hill and Monty Python skits.

Add a new counter service cafeteria restaurant near the entrance of World Showcase, called the NEW WORLD ORDER. It is really the Earl of Sandwich franchise, but at EPCOT. I love The Earl of Sandwich. Because it is in EPCOT you can increase the prices slightly, but still keep it as a counter service deal on the Dining Plan. If this restaurant revolves, even better, everyone gets a view of the Lagoon.

Expand the Soarin Capacity, Length of show, and have a variety of rotating themes.

Remove the African Outpost area, and replace with Switerland, with a Swiss Alps Roller Coaster Ride, maybe it can connect to Norway, and resurrect their ride (is it still shut down?). Maybe it should connect to Germany too.

Replace all Circle Visions with 3D Circle Vision, and add short seats that swivel.

Expand the VIRTUAL RIDES inside Innoventions, get NINTENDO or XBOX to sponsor the future of video stuff.
You can steal a few interactive things from Disney Quest. Also please bring the Cheese Cake Factory to this location also, just the Cheesecake, not the food.

Unleash ELLEN from the world of energy, and let her be part of a redone American Pavillion show that somehow doesn't want to use the word Japan during the quick scene of Pearl Harbor. American Humor during the economic down times would be very nice.

Also there are a lot of great Canadian Comics, they could be used to redo the Canadian Movie, but in 3D with swivelling seats please. Add another floor to Le Cellar, so that it is possible to get a reservation within the 90 day window. Or only allow Le Cellar to be for lunch on the Dining Plan, so I can get a reservation there for dinner. Or put back the 180 day window.

Does anyone remember the scene in The Simpsons, where Homer is desperately trying to get out of EPCOT to get to the Magic Kingdom? "But its sooooo borrrrrrriinnnngggg ! "

Given the current management's unwillingness to spend a dime (no Christmas bears, nixed Star Tours 2.0, no Little Mermaid dark ride, etcetera) it is doubtful that anything new or exciting is going to happen in any of the FL parks.....oh wait, I forgot we are getting a Stitch show!

They deserve to lose the masses to Harry Potter land!

A revamp of Universe of Energy is definitely in order (check out the size of Ellen's cell phone if you don't believe me). My only other big gripe is the lack of a full-service restaurant in the American Adventure pavillion. There is so much great regional American cuisne and all we get are burgers and hot dogs???
There's something not right about that

What would I do with Epcot? Quit trying to appeal to people who think it's supposed to be Six Flags! Epcot was not designed to be a park filled with thrill rides. While I love thrill rides myself, this was not the purpose of Epcot and personally, it cheapens the whole experience to see them there.

Also, get rid of all the branding...why does everything have to have Nemo, Stitch, Kim Possible, Pixar, etc. attached to it? I'm beginning to feel like I'm purchasing tickets to visit one big continual marketing campaign when I visit.

In short, bring Epcot back to it's original intentions. Put the thrill rides somewhere else, quite depending on corporate sponsors to operate the pavilions for them, wow us with vision and creativity not with the fastest, highest, etc. and for crying out loud scrap Mission Space and bring back Horizons! ;)

If you want thrill rides (coasters), then go to Six Flags or Universal. Let the rest of us enjoy Disney as it is! :)

I'll start by saying tha EPCOT is my second favorite park. Magic Kingdom will always be number one in my book. I would like to see another pavilion added to World Showcase and new attractions put into Future Wolrd, especially the innoventions areas; they are underutilized. I don't necessarily need another thrill ride or roller coaster but new attractions

Disney hasn't known what to do with Epcot since the late 80's and it's pretty obvious. The attractions that have been thrown in do nothing to keep the original ideals of the park and despite what some critics would say, it WAS popular.

Innoventions as a replacement to Communicore started out pretty well, but since hasn't shown much stuff that's cutting edge or exciting to more than kids (other than Segway)

World Showcase hasn't seen any changes since Norway and Morocco were added, besides updates of only the Canada and China films. I guess Disney thinks that if they can't market it easily, that it's not worth building. To think they had such larger plans for the entire place, but it's sad that nearly nothing was done to that area since.

Having said that, I really REALLY enjoy the Food and Wine festival every year

And with it comes the closing of EPCOT. People don't go to Disney to learn, they go to have fun, and taking away the Fastpass attractions will do the opposite of fun.

Mission Space is amazing and if that ever closes, I will be a sad panda. Also, have you tried the Kim Possible adventure, because if you haven't, you should. The Nemo thing was bad, but that is my only complaint.
