When is Cinderella present at Cinderella's Royal Table?

We will be in WDW for one week in mid-May. We are two adults, two 4 year old girls, and a one year old boy. We just booked. We are on the basic dining plan. When I called to find out when we could begin making our reservations, I was shocked to learn that there were openings for Cinderella's Royal Table. I went with a Saturday breakfast at 10:40, thinking that would be our lunch. But there are also openings for lunch around 2:20 on other days of the week. The lunch menu looks much better, but I have read some posts that the breakfast is the only meal where Cinderella is guaranteed to be present. My guidebook says that she is present at both lunch and dinner. Also, the dinner menu looks great, but my guidebook says Cinderella is not present at dinner. But some posts say that she greets you as you come into the castle. For two table service credits, we definitely want Cinderella time for the girls, but good food would also be nice. Your insight is appreciated.

We did the dinner in November and Cinderella is in the lobby of the castle when you enter for your reservations for a photo. Upstairs while you are eating you get the Fairy Godmother and the mice.

Cinderella is always in the lobby area downstairs. You arrive, check in, and then get your photo taken with her.

For breakfast and lunch, during the meal, you will be visited by other princesses, most often Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, and Belle, though if one of them calls in sick, you might get a replacement like the Fairy Godmother or Mary Poppins.

For dinner, no princesses visit your table, though the Fairy Godmother does a wishing ceremony thing in the dining room.

Before you even get to the dining part you wait in line to be greeted by Cindy herself, and get your picture with her. She doesnt show up during the breakfast, but all the other princesses are! Your daughters will LOVE it!

Cinderella will be available for a picture in the lobby at all 3 meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's her castle, of course! Other princesses will visit you in the dining room for breakfast and lunch. The fairy godmother will do a short show for dinner.

We enjoy meeting as many princesses as possible - we did breakfast and really liked it!

We like to do lunch at CRT - it's a nice break in the middle of the day. As you've already heard, Cinderella is always downstairs to do a picture with you. There will be 4 other "princesses" upstairs circulating from table to table.

At different times, we've had Belle (blue dress), Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora, Mary Poppins, and the Fairy Godmother upstairs. Belle and Snow White have always been there, the others have varied.

Characters come to your table at breakfast and lunch, visit for a short time, and pose for any photos you want to take. (I understand that the mice and the Fairy Godmother mostly just do a show at dinner). All the princesses make it to all the tables, so you will get to meet 5 characters (Cindy down + 4 up.) I would definitely go for breakfast or lunch.

Is it possible to get a pic with her without eating at the castle? Like maybe after everyone that has ressies has gotten their pics taken? Just curious. Thanks!

they would not allow this. Your best bet for seeing Cinderella without paying for a meal is at the Toontown tent. There is a room to meet princesses and Cinderella is often there.
