When is balance due- time of arrival???

I put down a deposit two weeks ago- just received a notice that the balance is due 3 weeks before we arrive???
What is up with that?
I made a room only request for Wilderness Lodge.
Reservation notice in the mail says we owe balance before we get there- When I called - they said it says balance is due when we arrive.
Very nervous- what should I do???
Anyone else have this happen?

i have always paid the balance upon arrival. it is good that you called. if you are still nervous call back and ask again! good luck!

They are sending out a new reservation confirmation to me. Sees as though the computer is recognizing the room only discount code as a package- thus prompting it to generate a letter requesting that balance be paid off ahead of time.
Whew!!!

Depends on who you booked it with. If it was done through WDW Travel, then it is due in advance. If it was booked as a room only through CRO, then it is due in full on day of arrival. I booked a room only using an AP rate last trip and noticed that it showed the balance due prior to arrival. I called CRO and she said that it was not due prior and that when a code is used, that the confirmation will show this sometimes.

I would call CRO and confirm that you booked it through them, then ask them why your confirmation is reading as it is. Make sure to write down the time you called and who you spoke to.

I have a 12 digit conf # which I guess means I booked it through CRO. But I'm going to call again just to be sure. They said that they are sending me out a corrected confirmation.
